Real Vintefy output — drag to compare

The short answer

Vinted doesn’t make an AI tool. “Vinted AI” is shorthand for independent apps that do the listing busywork — the photo, the title, the description, the price. Vintefy is one of those apps, built specifically for people reselling clothes. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Vinted — it just makes selling there a lot less manual.

Real transformations

What one photo becomes

One photo in.
A whole listing out.

Every generation produces the four things a listing needs to sell. Nothing to write, nothing to research, nothing to set up.

Capabilities

What Vinted AI actually does

Not magic — four specific jobs that used to take an evening each.

On-model photos

Your garment worn by a realistic model, in a realistic setting. The shot buyers stop scrolling for — no photoshoot, no mannequin, no model hire.

Clean studio backgrounds

Bedroom floor out, clean backdrop in. The item itself stays pixel-for-pixel identical — only the presentation around it changes.

Titles & descriptions

Written for how people actually search on Vinted: brand, item, size, colour, condition. Copy, paste, publish.

Price suggestions

A realistic range for the item in front of it — so you don’t give away good stock, or sit for weeks on an overpriced listing.

How it works

Thirty seconds, three steps.

01

Photograph the item

On the floor, on a hanger, over a chair. Daylight helps; perfection doesn’t. If the whole garment is in frame, the AI has everything it needs.

Any phone photo works — seriously

02

Vintefy generates

Clean studio background, or worn on a model. Vintefy generates the photo, then writes the title, the description and a suggested price to go with it.

Get the best results

Better input, better output

The AI does the heavy lifting. These four habits make it look even better.

Shoot in daylight

Near a window beats ceiling light, every time. True colours in means true colours out — and fewer disappointed buyers.

Frame the whole garment

Collar to hem, cuff to cuff. Whatever the AI can’t see, it has to invent — and you’d rather it didn’t.

One item per photo

One piece, clearly visible. Piles of clothes and full outfits confuse the segmentation and soften the result.

Flatten it out

Ten seconds of smoothing beats a wrinkled, bunched-up input. The AI keeps the shape you give it — give it a good one.

Why the photo matters

Buyers judge the thumbnail. Vinted notices.

Vinted search is a wall of thumbnails. Buyers tap the ones that look like they came from a shop and scroll straight past the ones that look like they came from a bedroom floor.

Vinted’s algorithm measures that tap. Listings with a strong click-through rate get ranked higher; the rest sink. And since most of a listing’s views arrive in its first days, the photo you lead with decides almost everything.

Where a listing’s views come from

Share of total views, by listing age — seller-observed data

First 24 hours 70%
Days 1–3 20%
Days 3–7 8%
After 7 days <2%

A main photo that earns clicks early keeps your listing in the window where the views are.

Who it’s for

Who uses Vinted AI

Different sellers, same bottleneck: listing takes too long.

You’re not a business — you just want the wardrobe emptied and a bit of money back. But every item means finding a backdrop, writing a description, guessing a price… so the pile by the door keeps growing.

With Vintefy, an evening is enough for the whole closet. Photograph, generate, paste, done — no photography skills, no writing, no research. The boring part of selling simply disappears.

Ten to fifty items a week means listing is your real job — sourcing is the fun part. At ten minutes of photographing and writing per item, that’s a full working day every week spent on admin.

Vintefy cuts that to about 30 seconds per item and makes every listing look like it came from the same professional shop — the consistency that turns one-time buyers into repeat followers.

At a hundred-plus items a week, marginal cost is the whole game. A studio shot costs €5–50; a Vintefy credit costs about €0.19. On a thousand items, that’s the difference between a marketing budget and a rounding error.

Batch-process an afternoon’s sourcing in minutes, keep a uniform standard across thousands of listings, and spend the saved hours on the thing that actually makes money: better stock.

The house rules

Present it better.
Never misrepresent it.

AI should sell the item, not lie about it. Three rules keep your account safe and your reviews five stars.

Seller checklist · 3 rules

0/3 checked

Lead with the AI photo. Back it with real ones.

Use the generated photo as your cover image, then add real shots of the label, the fabric and any flaws. That combination is what converts browsers into buyers.

Never edit out defects.

A stain or a pull stays in the listing, photographed and described. Hiding it costs you the return, the review, and eventually the account.

Check the colour.

Compare the generated photo against the item in daylight. If the shade is off, retake the input photo — buyers expect an exact match.

All checks passed — list with confidence.

Questions

Vinted AI, answered.

Does Vinted have an official AI?+

No. Vinted does not offer AI photo or listing tools. "Vinted AI" is shorthand for independent third-party apps like Vintefy that generate listing content for sellers. Vintefy is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Vinted.

Is Vintefy affiliated with Vinted?+

No. Vintefy is an independent app built for people who sell on Vinted and other marketplaces. Vinted has no involvement in it. The name is used here only to describe what the tool is for.

Does Vinted allow AI-enhanced photos?+

Vinted’s rules come down to one principle: photos must accurately represent the item. Showing your real item on a clean background or worn on a model is presentation, not misrepresentation — the same thing every brand does. What you must never do is alter the item itself or hide flaws. Keep real detail photos in the listing next to the AI cover photo.

Will buyers know the photo is AI-generated?+

The item in the photo is your real item — its colour, pattern and details are unchanged. What changes is the presentation around it. Buyers care that what arrives matches what was shown, so keep the item accurate and add real close-ups of labels, fabric and any flaws.

How much does it cost?+

Vintefy runs on credits, at roughly €0.19 per photo depending on the pack. Compare that with €5–50 for a studio shot, or ten minutes of manual editing per item. Occasional sellers use small packs; high-volume resellers buy in bulk.

What kind of items does it work on?+

Tops, dresses, knitwear, jackets, trousers, jeans, shoes and accessories. For the best result, photograph the whole item in daylight with nothing covering it — if the AI can see the full garment, it doesn’t have to guess.

Can AI photos get my Vinted account restricted?+

Accounts get restricted for misrepresentation: hiding defects, faking brands, misleading buyers. An accurate AI cover photo plus honest detail shots is the safe pattern. If you ever do face a restriction, we wrote a separate guide on appealing it.
